QuSecure Selected to Present on Quantum and AI at Mobile World Congress Las Vegas 2023 Next Week

Co-founder and CPO Rebecca Krauthamer to Present on “Quantum and AI: A Powerful Partnership” on Sept. 28

SAN MATEO, Calif. — Sept. 21, 2023 — QuSecure™, Inc., a leader in post-quantum cryptography (PQC), today announced that it has been selected to present at Mobile World Congress (MWC) Las Vegas 2023 being held next week. Company Co-founder and Chief Product Officer (CPO) Rebecca Krauthamer will participate in a talk titled “Quantum and AI: A Powerful Partnership” at 11:30 am PDT on Sept. 28 on Stage B – W229, Level 2.

The speaking event is described: With compute speeds nearly 158 million times faster than the most sophisticated supercomputer, quantum computing could process in four minutes a request that a traditional supercomputer would take 10,000 years to do. A recent report revealed that the global quantum computing market size was valued at around $457.9 million in 2021 and is projected to reach $5,274.9 million by 2030. Combine this incredibly powerful technology with the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and we could unlock the infinite potential for solving societal and technological problems that are beyond the capabilities of our current understanding. This partnership could revolutionize tasks such as how we train AI effectively, how we detect and fraud and enhance data security, and how it could unlock unprecedented possibilities in fields such as healthcare and security.

“We are very pleased to have been chosen to present on the future of Quantum Computing and AI at the Mobile World Congress,” said Krauthamer. “With AI and quantum computing moving faster and faster, we can expect classical AI to push quantum computing forward, and likewise we can expect quantum computing to push AI forward in incredible ways. Our data is essential to AI advancement, and it is more critical than ever that consumers and organizations alike demand proper data protection against known threats to our privacy and security. I’m thrilled the Mobile World Congress is actively highlighting the opportunities and challenges Quantum and AI present to our world. At QuSecure, we are proud to help fight these threats by empowering enterprise IT to leverage tools like crypto-agility – the ability to adapt cryptography on the fly to ensure networks can adjust to advanced AI or quantum attacks. This cryptographic agility is just one of the powerful features of our cryptographic orchestration capability.”

At QuSecure, Krauthamer heads product development for QuProtect, which provides quantum-resilient cryptography anytime, anywhere and on any device. QuProtect uses an end-to-end quantum-security-as-a-service architecture that addresses the digital ecosystem’s most vulnerable aspects, uniquely combining cryptographic agility, zero-trust, next-generation post-quantum cryptography, quantum-strength keys, high availability, easy deployment, and active defense into a comprehensive and interoperable cybersecurity suite. The end-to-end approach is designed around the entire data lifecycle as data is stored, communicated, and used.

MWC Las Vegas showcases the hottest trends in connectivity and mobile innovation. It represents the North American wireless communications industry – from carriers and equipment manufacturers to mobile app developers and content creators. The event attracts the mobile ecosystem, technology industry and vertical industries affected by connectivity to explore the themes that are shaping our world.

QuSecure’s QuProtect software enables organizations to leverage quantum-resilient technology to prevent today’s cyberattacks, while future-proofing networks and preparing for quantum cyberthreats. It provides quantum-resilient cryptography, anytime, anywhere and on any device including network, cloud, IoT (Internet of Things), edge devices, and satellite communications. Using QuProtect, organizations can implement PQC on the network with minimal disruption to existing systems.
