Business Development Representative (BDR) – Cybersecurity / PQC Encryption
Location: Remote
Reports To: SVP of Marketing and Revenue Operations
Experience Level: 3 years+ in a security-related sales development or lead generation role
Job Summary:
We’re seeking a driven and security-savvy Business Development Representative (BDR) to help us scale pipeline generation. You’ll be on the front lines and a foundation member of the marketing and revenue team of the quantum-resilient security movement — researching. identifying, qualifying, and engaging prospects in cybersecurity, compliance, and digital infrastructure roles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and prospect ideal customers across enterprise and federal targets
- Conduct research on target accounts, trends (e.g., quantum readiness, crypto-agility), and stakeholders
- Be a pivotal member of Account Based Experience (ABX) projects for high-touch accounts
- Execute outbound campaigns via email, phone, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and events
- Set up and manage appropriate sequences and messages based on verticals and personas
- BANT qualify marketing qualified leads and work with marketing to improve top of funnel quality
- Maintain accurate CRM records and track activity against the plan with visible reports
- Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to refine messaging and feedback loops based on prospect interaction
- Stay current on cybersecurity industry trends, compliance frameworks (NIST, CISA), and post-quantum updates and most critical players in cybersecurity
Qualifications:
- 3 years of SDR/ BDR or outside sales experience and security-related experience is required
- Familiarity with cryptography, cybersecurity protocols, encryption standards or compliance frameworks is a big plus
- Must be an experienced user of HubSpot and Seamless.AI or equivalent prospecting tools
- Clear, persuasive communicator – able to handle technical objections with confidence
- High energy, curious, and motivated to learn deeply about PQC and security architecture
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- Have engaged C-level audiences including CISO, CIOs
- Prior experience with both commercial and federal, critical infrastructure, or regulated industries ideal
- Self-motivated, data-driven and extremely disciplined on quantitative and qualitative reporting
